Key takeaways
What you will take away
Four topics covered in depth. Each one maps to a decision your team will face as production scales.
01
Why manual AIT workflows fail at scale Design data and test execution live in separate systems. Engineers leave the test environment, find the right version manually, and compare results by hand. Flavien and Michele walked through exactly where that process breaks and what it costs.
02
How Connektica pulls versioned data from Poelis mid-sequence The demo showed Flavien's sequence calling the Poelis API during a live test step to retrieve ADCS criteria, compare measured values against the design baseline, and surface a fail in real time. No switching tabs. No manual lookup.
03
What happens when a criterion is wrong and needs updating When the static balance measured 0.99 against a criterion of 0.1, Flavien updated the value directly in Poelis and reran the step from Connektica. The correction, the rerun, and the justification log were all captured in the execution record.
04
Closing the loop: pushing test reports back into Poelis After the sequence completed, Flavien generated the test report in one click and pushed it to Poelis via REST API. Michele then launched an approval loop directly from the uploaded document, closing the full design-to-test-to-record cycle.
AIT Validation
~1 hour
Manual validation removed per AIT cycle
Integration
8 hours
From first API call to working integration
Test Execution
In sequence
Design-to-test comparison runs inside the test step
Your hosts
Bianca Ambrosini & Michele Genoni
Co-founders, Poelis
Poelis builds the central hub for engineering data across the design lifecycle. Bianca and Michele founded the company on direct experience in aerospace AIT, propulsion systems, and satellite programs at Airbus Space.
Flavien Deschaux
Sales Engineer, Connektica
Flavien built the Poelis x Connektica integration and ran the live demo. He completed the full integration in around eight hours using the Poelis Python SDK, with no changes to the core architecture of either platform.
